Help · When something goes wrong
What to tell us when something is wrong
The five details that let a problem be found quickly, and where to write.
If something here does not fix it, write to support at the address printed at the foot of every page. A short message with the right details is answered faster than a long one without them. Please give:
- The house's name and the email address the book was opened with. Without them nobody can find the book.
- What you were doing, in a sentence: "writing a lot on my phone", "printing the catalogue for the winter sale".
- The exact words on the screen, if any. Copy a sentence such as "lot 14 was not in a run booked for the sale" letter for letter, or take a screenshot of it. The sentence says which rule was met.
- The sale and the lot number, if it is about a lot.
- The device and browser, and roughly when it happened, with your time zone.
If it is about lots not arriving, add the number shown in the outbox bar and whether the bar says no signal, some of it is still on the phone, or one item needs a look.
Please do not send:
- Your password, in any form.
- Photographs of the goods unless asked. They are already on the lot if it was saved.
- Card numbers. Support never needs them.
Nothing you have written is lost while you wait. Lots waiting on a phone stay there. See The outbox.
Before you write, glance at the status page in case the cause is already known.
Not what you needed? Write to support@lotdesk.app, with the details in what to tell us.
